Drawble: Wounds That Tear, Wounds That Bind

Artist:[livejournal.com profile] fuckyeah
Title: Wounds That Tear, Wounds That Bind
Rating: G
Pairing: Merlin/Morgana
Character/s: Merlin, Morgana
Warnings: none
Prompt: Scars
Artist’s Notes: Not really a drawble, but photo-manipble doesn't really roll off the tongue. And this might be stretching the prompt a bit, but I wanted to play around with the metaphorical scar in Merlin and Morgana's relationship.

I loooove the idea behind this. and i think metaphorical scars are just as hurtful as real ones, imho. great work!
^-^

Oooh, I love all the little bits in the background. Is that the scene from 2.13 in the back on Merlin's side?

Hell yeah. I would actually be hard pressed to choose between that scene or the one where Merlin could reveal that he has magic and that's how he understands what Morgana is going through. I think this one really cements the tear in their relationship, especially when she realizes that he's poisoned her knowingly.

Very nice idea, and I love the colors and the effects on it. Oh, and the heart. Great job! I hope I'll get to see more like this.

Lovely! I adore the idea of a metaphorical scar in their relationship :) They have such a fascinating dynamic, and I think you've captured that here, where it's hard to visually tell if they are enemies or accomplices. Well done!

I'm glad you did. (For a moment it reminded me of a photo of me that was taken a year ago. I had a heart surgery and in the yard of the clinic there was a giant lifelike heart of lead and I posed with it.)

And it just works well with this pic.

Love it! They are kinda the yin yang, fire and ice, love and hate, peace and war. LOVE IT!

Hope that make sense. Lol!

Oh wow - I love that... the background is amazing!

Oh, nice! The thing that actually strikes me the most about this is the main image - Merlin's clothing echoes the concept of light, with the warm colors, but his pose is open and offensive, while Morgana's clothing highlights her darkness, but her pose is actually closed and kind of vulnerable.

Such a lovely concept you have here.

*shakes head and laughs* I'm over-analyzing things left and right today.

You're welcome!

Wow! You have some talent with graphics.

Love the way you have captured how entwined their lives are, yet the deep emotions that will forever separate them.
