Crawling into the crumbling throne-room, ignoring statues whispering of doom, rotted banners floating high above, and the stench of decay, Tom shivered.

If his arsehole brother hadn’t dared him, Tom wouldn’t have come.

He had to stay overnight in the old ruin, to prove he was braver than Jack.

Feeling like he was being watched, he turned to see a figure, long-bearded, golden-eyed, lifting his arms, lightning crackling in his hands.  “You don’t belong here. Get out, get out, get out!”

Tom screamed, running away into the night.

Jack was right. Camelot was haunted.

And Tom wasn’t going back.

Ever.
