Title: Walls and All
Rating: General
Pairing/s: Merlin/Arthur
Character/s: Merlin, Arthur
Summary: Merlin puts up a picture.
Warnings: None
Word Count: 168
Prompt: Argument
Author's Notes: Disclaimers and Unbeta'd. Also, credit to
emrys_mk who, even if unknowingly, gave me the title this week.
Also, I apologise for how badly this is written and how vaguely it fits the prompt.
The frame was really heavy and Arthur was doing absolutely nothing to help him. Merlin had put the picture up in every room in the house, only for Arthur to decide five seconds later that it “doesn’t suit the styling of the room Merlin”. Merlin had almost had enough and if the living room still didn’t please Arthur, he was going to have to seriously reconsider why he was dating the blond prat in the first place.
“I think it’s straight now.” Merlin said, stepping back from the wall.
Arthur tilted his head to the right, then the left. “Hmm, move it slightly more to the right, it’s drooping a bit on the left.” Merlin sighed and moved the frame in the way Arthur asked for.
“Well, it’s definitely not straight now.” Merlin was frowning as he came to stand by Arthur, folding his arms to mirror Arthur’s stance.
Arthur grinned and looked sideways at Merlin. “You’re right, it’s really gay isn’t it?”

Arthur's lucky Merlin did't bop him on the head with the picture.
That last line!!!
And you used the title! Did it inspire the story?

Yes, Arthur is very lucky...although your comment kinda did just inspire me to kill will again...go read >.> (x (http://killwill-fest.livejournal.com/1307.html?thread=18459#t18459))
I did use the title, and it definitely inspired this week! Sometimes I write the fic and then ask for titles and hope for the best...probably not the wisest thing to do and I should actually start thinking of titles for myself...

Ah, this was so cute! Domesticity at its best :-) I can so hear Arthur making that quip and rolling his eyes as Merlin gives him a side glare..
I inspired the title? Awesome! I remember using that phrase, just not the context :-)

And yes, you did inspire the title \o/ (I think you were correcting a typo, but no matter)
