“Unbelievable,” Arthur said as he slammed the cupboard door shut. “Just unbelievable. Merlin!”

“Yes, Your Lordship?” Merlin said as he appeared in the kitchen doorway.

“Stop calling me that!”

“Is that all you wanted?”

“No. You ate the last Pop-Tart again.”

Merlin grinned. “Yes, yes I did.”

“Why you little—” Arthur lunged for Merlin, who took off toward the living room. He managed to corner Merlin on the sofa and put his arms on either side of Merlin’s body. “Do you know what this means?”

“That I get to do the shopping again?”

“Correct. You get to do the shopping again.”

“Aw, come on, Arthur. This is the fifth time in a row.”

Arthur let Merlin go. “Yes, and?”

“I’ll go later today.”

“Good. And see that you get me two boxes of Pop-Tarts this time.”

“I will.”

Arthur grinned. “Have a good day, Merlin.”
