Merlin woke with a sour stomach and a pounding head, trying to piece together the night before. Oh, yeah, Percy’s bachelor party and all the fucking shots in the world. God, he hated tequila. And Percy’s best man Gwaine. He really, really hated Gwaine.

And then he remembered the tequila fueled dancing and talking and Arthur finally admitting there was something more than friendship between them. Something they were going to talk about this morning. Merlin glanced at the clock and winced. Or afternoon.

Feet on the floor, coffee, shower, then calling Arthur and hopefully the beginning of something wonderful.
