Unleashed at last, fire, once shackled by cold iron and Uther’s trickery is stoked to an internal inferno Kilgarrah’s rage fed for over two decades. The citadel has grown since the dragon last soared free. More to burn. He smiles.

The courtyard teems with scrambling red cloaks but none of them are Uther, the coward. Kilgarrah will take his men as tribute but is mindful of the Prince and his warlock. The brave fools are front and center so he veers toward the heavens, breathing flame at Uther’s rooms in passing, screams and shattering glass a symphony in his wake.
