Apply for a contributor tag

To make things easier on the mods, we now ask that you apply for your contributor tag. Once you have made a total of FIVE entries to the community, you may apply for a contributor tag by leaving a comment here. Hi I applied a while ago (here's my contributor link: http://camelot-drabble.livejournal.com/?poster=side_steppings)

Anyway, I go to use my tag and it lets me add it to the post, only for LJ then to delete when it comes to posting.

I don't know exactly what I'm doing wrong? :(

Hi,

I just checked the settings and it said that "members only" can add tags.

I don't know if this ("members only") is really the problem because everybody else can add their tag. :o/ (It's also weird that only the contributor tag doesn't work for you. :o/)

I don't know if I'm allowed to change the settings to "Entry's author, maintainers and moderators". (I'm also not sure if this would help?) Sorry about that. :o(

Can you please contact yenny2206? She's the owner of this Community (and probably able to help you with this problem?).

It's not related to members only thing because the tag already exists, I just can't use it on my posts?!

Is it possible for you to delete the tag and recreate it? its *c:side_steppings

If that doesn't work I'll get in contact with yenny2206 :)

Hi this is dig (another mod)

are you typing the whole thing in or just starting to type: *c:side (and then your tag pops up) and then you select it (and make sure it's in the tag bar) before hitting save?

I just tried to add this tag on one of your old posts and it seemed to work. Let me know if you have more issues.


ETA: I was able to add your tag to a couple more of your entries and they seem to be popping up after saving. So it's not the tag that's the issue.

Hi,

Ive emailed our old mod who knows more about lj technical things. It only seems to be your tag that is not working. When I checked the tags settlings yours appear with 0 stories. But if I go and edit the tags to add your names, then is good. Weird. I will keep you posted, IM SORRY.
