Hi everyone!

Our call for a new mod has been successful!

We want to welcome pendragonns in our mod team!

We now have three active mods in the community :
- eurydice72 : who does the prompt posts and reminders and take care of the sign-ups. She also organise the tags and take care of the Summer bingo.
- aeris444 : who creates the AO3 collections and organise the Holiday Exchange.
- pendragonns : who create the masterlists.

Good morning,

The sign up for this year Holiday Exchange Fest is coming soon. For the last several years the sign-ups are done by commenting on the post. We would like to know if you'll be ok with doing the sign up using a google form link or keep it as it is.

Good morning,

We need your opinion on tumblr. According to the survey some of you would like for Camelot Drabble to have a presence there. We are trying to figure out how it would work. What do you think?

P.S. We will need a tumblr MOD. As we don't really know our way around it, or how to promote the community.

Hi everyone! So you may or may not have noticed a problem with how the tags were stacking in the sidebar. It was going from prompt 9, to the 100s, back to prompt 10. This is to let you know that we've fixed the problem and the tags should stack correctly now. You don't have to do anything (and fellow mods, you don't have to change how you've been creating tags for prompt 100 and above); this was simply to let you know about the changes.

One thing though: to make sure it stacked correctly, I had to go back and change how tags for prompts 1-99 were labeled. In doing so, I was able to check the tag usage statistics and found them quite interesting, so I thought I'd share them with you.

To make things easier on the mods, we now ask that you apply for your contributor tag. Once you have made a total of FIVE entries to the community, you may apply for a contributor tag by leaving a comment here. To check to see how many entries you have made, go to http://camelot-drabble.livejournal.com/?poster=username (just replace username with your own, of course) and link those entries here. Please give us some time to get back to you! TIA!

Just a quick mod post to let you know about updates to the tagging system:

+ All of you that have a contributor tag, your entries should finally be linked to your tag. Sorry about the delay, but going through 900+ entries was no easy feat! If some of your works are missing from your tag, please let us know!

+ You may or may not know, but to get a contributor tag, you must post at least five entries to the community. To keep track on how many posts you've made, you can click "http://camelot-drabble.livejournal.com/?poster=username" (and replace "username" with your lj name of course) If you have five entries but don't have a contributor tag, tell us so we can correct that right away!

+ So the tags aren't so long, we've shortened them:
== "contributor:username" is now "*c:username"
== "character:[character name]" is now "c:[character name]"
== "pairing:[pairing]" is now "p:[pairing]"
== "prompt #:[prompt}" is now "pt #:[prompt]"

No need to retag your entries, they've already been changed over. However, if there's a tag you need (either for a character or pairing), please let us know so we can add it!
