Dear Arthur,

I know it's not your fault. Well, it is really. I would have thought knowing each other as long as we have and being mates and all, you'd have noticed that I avoid flowers. But I'm sure you were only trying to be nice. At least I hope so.

Good thing I had my EpiPen. Roses give off so much pollen and my throat closing up wasn't fun.

It wouldn't have been so bad if you hadn't filled my flat with them. Flowers are pretty– at a distance but covering every surface seemed a bit of overkill.

I must admit that when you realized that I was in trouble, your face was rather spectacular. I didn't know eyes could bulge out like that. I wish I'd been able to breathe enough to snap a pic and share it with our mates.

Next time, just snog me. I'll get the hint pretty fast. Or I'll snog you and save us both a trip to A&E.

That was sweet and funny. The flat full of roses was a very romantic gesture. Too bad Merlin's so allergic! I think Arthur is going to be carrying an epi pen for the rest of his life (and that's pretty romantic, too).
