Thanks for reading :-) I almost didn't write for this prompt because I wasn't ready to progress the series that far ahead, but then I thought about the previous night, when I was at my parents' for NYE. My mother had made.me a drink in one of the small stem glasses my sister and I used every NYE to toast the New Year at my grandfather's house. Then I knew that I had to incorporate those glasses in the story.
