Author's notes: Thank you for all the lovely comments on 'Flames', I hope you'll also like this one. I didn’t want to post this, because I don’t like it personally, but I thought what the hell. The style I used here is totally strange for me, never used it before, I can only hope I could make it work. I can't say I'm totally satisfied with it, but here it goes.

Promises

’I’m happy to be your servant, till the day I die.’ Tied by fate.

„…for the crime of betrayal…” Arthur’s voice booms across the courtyard.

You deceived me for as long as I have known you!

Banishment.

„…leave and never return to Camelot on the penalty of death.”

His lips ghosting Arthur’s chest drawing a soft moan. Bound by love. Forever.

His eyes told everything: ’I don’t ever want to see you again.’

Merlin’s nails dig deep enough to draw blood, he’s sure it’ll leave a scar, cutting deep into the life line of his palm. Destiny written in scars.

Oooh, that gave me the chills. It's very powerful. See what you can with 100 words? Well done! I especially love that last line because it's such a play on "destiny written in the stars".

The drabble format is almost more like poetry at times. You have to abbreviate and concentrate the language.

It definitely works for me!

I think you will find that some drabbles "sing" brighter than others, but it's definitely been a good way for me to focus intensely on something.

Right. Well, drabbles are not for telling long complicated stories. You can certainly tell a type of story in a drabble, but it's not going to be long.

Yes, I love the poetry in drabbles too.

I think you write very well, especially considering that English is not your first language!

I think you'll find that happens from time to time. My "scar" drabble has a lot more story in it than most of my drabbles.

Thanks, again:) I love playing with the drabble form. I have written over 30 at this point. Not sure of the exact number. I enjoy playing with the different effects you can get though.

Excellent. I'll check them out.

*blush* Really, you do not need to read them all. I am actually planning to do a post tomorrow (most likely) on my favorite fics that I've written. Start with the ones with a high kudo count, if you are really aiming to read everything:D

I liked how the story was told in so few words. Loved the idea of the scars. Great job.
