“Merlin, time to cut the cake.” Arthur laid a hand on his new husband’s arm, guiding him toward the elaborate cake sitting to the side of the dance floor. Merlin resisted.
“I woke up on cloud nine and I stayed there during the ceremony but now I’m a bundle of nerves about this.” Merlin waved toward the cake and eyed Arthur. “You’re looking very cake smash-y.”
“Oh, sweet cheeks, don’t you trust me?” Arthur’s devilish grin showed Merlin he was right to be nervous.
Merlin glared back then smiled wickedly. “Is it hard to get butter cream out of Armani?”
