Author's Notes: And then I went and decided that what I really needed was to ignore the fic I was supposed to be writing and write some crack, so, here it is (one more to come, sorry for the overload)
“Ow!”
“Would you just- look, you really need to- Elaine! Hold still!”
She wriggles under Morgana’s hands regardless.
“It hurts!”
“Yes, and if you’d just hold still, darling, I could get you out of it.”
There’s a pause, while Elaine is obedient and still. And then.
“Oww! Morgana!”
“Sorry, sorry, just bear with me.”
“It hurts. This was your idea.”
She pouts a little, frowning.
“Yeah,” Morgana admits, “But you liked it.”
“Mmm,” Elaine says, trying to snuggle in closer but stopped by the tangle she’s in.
Morgana leans in to kiss her, then a little reluctantly turns back to the Gordian knot behind her head. Somehow, Elaine’s hair has twisted into the rope, which in itself is pretty heavily knotted. So Morgana starts to undo the rope, beginning at the headboard.
“If you have to cut my hair off, I won’t be happy.”
“Ssshh,” Morgana says, though she’s laughing softly anyway.
And then her hair comes free, and Elaine breathes a sigh of relief and checks on it, threading her fingers into it.
“I wouldn’t be happy if we’d had to cut it off either. It’s beautiful.”
Elaine smiles, throws the rope off the bed, and pulls Morgana close.
