As you all know, everyone loves to get gifts, and in this community, we like to make someone happy by giving a gift. It's what the holiday season is all about. With that in mind, we thought about playing Santa ;)!

Is there a fic that you just love to read or an image you would love to see come to life and tantalize your senses?? Well here's your chance and you don't even have to write a letter to Santa. Just sign up for our Tenth Camelot Drabble Gift Exchange, leave your prompt, and (one of Santa's elves in the form of a lovely fellow drabbler, or drawbler) will create it for you! It's all anon until your gift is posted. You'll get a gift and you'll give one in return!

This is a gift exchange fest, please keep your recipient a secret! Don't go ruining the surprise!

Drabbles, in our comm, are anything from 100-1000 words, however for this exchange drabbles must be at least 1,200 words. If you want to write more, you can but no more then 5k, strictly.

If you are drawing please adhere to these rules:

The drawing must be new and not posted anywhere.

Drawing must be complete.

As always, your work must follow the Prompt, be particularly attentive to your recipient's dislikes!

If you're an author, your fanwork must meet the following criteria:

1.]All fan-work must involve Merlin characters in some way. As long as one of your main characters appear somewhere in the seasons, then you're good to go.

2.] There is NO limit on how many people can sign up each round.

3.] Sign ups are on a weekly basis, no 'skips' are available. That just wouldn't make sense (:P). Please, if you sign up for a round, turn in your drabble. If for some reason you can't once, that is all right. But if a member continues to do it then they will be banned from future rounds.

4.] All Character, Rating, Genre is allowed. RPF is also welcome.

5.] Each week, sign ups are optional. You can sign up every week or for none.

6.] All drabbles MUST follow the guidelines presented with the prompt at the beginning of each week. The guidelines WILL change from week to week (the prompt, maybe pairing) so please pay attention to that. If we see something amiss, we will simply ask you to revise your drabble.

7.] All drabbles must be a minimum of 100 words but no more than 1,000.*

8.]All drabble/drawble must remain exclusive to the

camelot_drabble archive until the masterlist is posted which would be on Wednesdays. Once the masterlist is posted you can post it everywhere.

9.] Absolutely No flaming! These are people’s baby creations and should be treated with respect. If this occurs you may find yourself in the stocks overnight, and if it continues you could find yourself relocated to the caves under the castle, spending eternity listening to the riddles of the Great Dragon. Going from what my mother always says, if you have no constructive criticism to offer, or anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

10.] As this community has an open membership all must label their entries correctly. There may be younger members, and any and all drabbles containing explicit adult content must have a NC-17 rating, this is a must and drabbles will be removed if not rated accordingly.

Entries containing any kinks must also be warned for. Noncon, Dubcon, abuse, violence, incest, character death, etc. Nobody wants to offend, and if your work is not labelled or tagged correctly this may happen.

To avoid any mishaps, please tag for the following; Rating (Gen – NC-17), Genre (canon, AU) and Pairing. We don’t want any nasty surprises, while a Gaius/Uther NC-17 may be your thing, it may not be for others – make sure they know what they are opening beforehand!

This is a fanlore community and these rules must be followed for the enjoyment of all! To not follow, may end up with a night spent in the stocks and there is a basket of rotten tomatoes stored! =D

* We understand that sometimes we want to go on, but we have set a minimum and a limit of 1,000 words which is a huge drabble ;)

If you're an artist, your fanart must meet the following criteria:

1.] The fanart must be an original work that has not been previously posted anywhere else, either in full or as a work in progress. Every piece of art or media must be created specifically for the prompt.

2.] The fanart must contain Merlin characters.

3.] The fanart must be rated.
